A visit to the Wunstorf plant of Brugg Rohrsysteme: Mayor Rolf-Axel Eberhardt takes a personal look at the recently commissioned warehouse at Wunstorf-based pipe system manufacturer Brugg. “I am pleased that projects like this one are investing in the future and securing jobs in our city”, said Eberhardt.
The company, which has been based in Wunstorf since 1995, produces flexible pipe systems for district heating, industry and commerce. “Our company, rich in tradition, has its origins in the Nordstadt district of Hanover, where Hackethal Draht- und Kabelwerke AG was founded in 1900”, reported Managing Director Dr Samy Saab during the mayor’s visit. “My grandfather was working here back then”, Eberhard says.
The company is growing: “We have grown from 100 to 120 employees in the last two years and are investing in future-oriented technologies, for example for the transport of cryogenic gases such as hydrogen”, added Production Manager Florian Pöppe.
