Successful expansion of production capacities for PREMANT pipes

The energy transition is in full swing and BRUGG Pipes is really stepping on the gas! As the leading producer of district heating pipes in Switzerland, we are aware of this responsibility and are doing everything we can to master the challenges of this transformation.

In order to meet the rapidly growing demand for district heating pipes, we have invested massively in the expansion of our production capacities at the Kleindöttingen site in Switzerland. With the addition of a further plastic casing pipe production facility, the high demand for district heating pipes in the Swiss market can be met even better in the future.

On 05.07.2023 the official inauguration of the new production plant for PREMANT pipes took place in the new "Hall 42". With the words "today is a great day", Daniel Schneider, Director Sales DHS Switzerland at BRUGG Pipes opened the customer event, which was attended by around 160 people.

In addition to the inauguration ceremony, the focus was on further details about production capacity expansions, sustainability and the new services from BRUGG Pipes. The guests also enjoyed a district heating presentation by Othmar Reichmuth (Member of the Council of States and President of the Swiss Thermal Networks Association).
