As part of the Masche Clouth project, BRUGG Pipes supplied Rheinenergie Köln with an extensive district heating solution comprising 1,400 metres of PREMANT DN 350/500 mm and ball valves DN 250/500 (Böhmer) with a laterally flanged gearbox
The challenge: the new pipe had to be precisely integrated into the existing DN 250 network. The installation of the moulded parts was particularly demanding and required precise coordination with the civil engineering and pipe construction teams. Thanks to the cooperation with Jansen, Haakshorst and the civil engineering company Jansen, the installation was carried out efficiently and without delays.
The heavy-duty ball valves and fittings we supplied enabled a quick and reliable installation. This construction measure not only improves the security of supply, but also creates the basis for future network optimisation.
