A future-proof solution for the heat supply was implemented for the new building area of the Mettmenstetten elementary school. The focus was on laying 250 meters of CALPEX PUR-KING pipe, which is ideal for local and district heating applications thanks to its outstanding insulation performance.
The construction project included the installation of a house-to-house connection on the school grounds, in which a CALPEX DUO pipe was used for the heating supply. A particular challenge was the laying of the 250 meter long pipe, which was carried out in one piece and with five successive bending radii. This demonstrated the strength of our new crawler cable winch, which enabled optimum laying thanks to its mobility and precision.

During ongoing school operations, the safety of the children was the top priority. Extensive protective measures ensured that the danger zone remained inaccessible. At the same time, our specialists worked with the utmost precision to align the cables precisely and connect them reliably.
